BOOKING CONDITIONS:

1. The booking form will be deemed a binding contract between the tenant (s) and Attela’s Accommodation as soon as it signed by tenant.

2. A non-refundable administration fee of R 150 - R 200 will apply to all bookings.

3. Payment:

Booking and reservation shall only be made on receipt of deposit and Booking Form.  The balance shall be paid at least 48 HOURS before arrival for bookings not in High season and before the end of November for bookings over the December/January holiday period.

4. Cancellations:

Any cancellation made (for whatever reason) shall be done telephonically first and then in writing. If Attela’s Accommodation is able to relet the accommodation in question, the monies paid, except for 20% of the total booking, will be refunded.

5. Access:

All tenants will be met by a representative of Attela’s Accommodation on arrival and taken to the property. Standard booking in times are: Weekend and out of season: 16:00 arrival and 16:00 departure. Over December/January the times are: 13:00 arrival and 10:00 departure. Otherwise by arrangement. 

6. In the event that the accommodation booked, becomes not available, we will try our utmost to provide a suitable alternative. If not, a full refund will be done.

7. The number of persons using the Accommodation:

The number of people using the rented accommodation shall NOT exceed the maximum stated. If it is found that the number of persons is exceeded, the booking WILL be CANCELLED, the tenants asked to leave and all monies, except the key and breakage fee, will be FORFEITED.

NO DAY VISITORS ARE ALLOWED EXCEPT BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT WITH THE AGENT(S).

8. Attela’s Accommodation reserves the right to charge for any excessive cleaning or laundry that has to be done on the tenants’ behalf. Any damage or breakages, must be reported and will be deducted at market related prices.

The Accommodation and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects must

 be kept in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the stay and it shall be left in the same state of cleanliness and order in which it was found i.e. clean stove, clean fridge, barbecue cleaned, house swept and cutlery & crockery washed. Bed linen need to be stripped from bed(s) and left in the bedroom(s). All bins must be emptied, rubbish must be placed in the black bags provided and taken to the refuse trailer. No rubbish bags must be left in any of the properties on departure, otherwise a removal fee will be charged. The breakage fee will be refunded after inspection of the property and paid within 10 – 14 days of departure, subject to there being no damages and breakages.

9. General:

These are quiet villages, forming part of the Kogelberg biosphere. Respect must be awarded to the house, surroundings and other people in the vicinity!

No Loud music / Noise (especially after 24:00).

After the third complaint about unacceptable behaviour, the tenant(s) will be asked to leave the property immediately, the booking will be cancelled and money will be forfeited.

No animals, birds or reptiles are allowed, unless prior arrangements had been made.

Outside lights to be switch off during the night.

Baboons, wind and fire can cause a lot of damage - take precautions.

Some accommodation is non-smoking!

10. Attela’s Accommodation reserves the right of entry to the property at any reasonable time for the purpose of general maintenance and after receiving complaints about unacceptable behaviour. We reserve the right to order any unauthorised person(s) off the premises.
 

11. Attela’s Accommodation reserves the right to refuse any booking at any stage of the booking procedure.

12. Departure: keys to be left as per arrangement.

13. All statements are made, and information is given, in good faith, being true and correct to the best of our belief and knowledge, but Attela’s Accommodation accepts no liability in the event of any such statement or information not being correct or untrue.

14. Attela’s Accommodation does not accept liability for any injury, loss, accident or damage sustained by any resident, their family, visitors, vehicles or personal effects, however caused.
